Laura Cleary Chaired a panel entitled ‘Altruism, Ambition and Absorptive Capacity: Matching Security Cooperation to Partner Nation Requirements’ at the IUS conference in October. She was joined on the panel by colleagues from the Institute for Defence Analyses and by former colleagues from Cranfield University.  Laura’s paper, ‘From Abstract to Actual: The Concepts and Practice of Accountability’ drew on research conducted for her recent book, Managing Security: Concepts and Challenges.
